If it's in this section, it's been printed using some variation of CMYK. Ink on paper is the space I love to design in. It's the unique place where graphic design meets manufacturing. The place where state-of-the art, multi-million dollar printing presses and 100-year- old bindery equipment compliment each other and produce one-of-a-kind pieces of collateral. It's where you spend night and day standing press-side waiting for the press operator to show you the next press sheet to make sure it's perfect. The stakes are high, the pressure is higher and the rewards are immeasurable. This space is unlike any other.
I've tried to convey digitally what can only be appreciated in person—holding the printed piece, flipping through each page, feeling the texture of the paper, and yes, even smelling the ink.
Look at my samples and just imagine what they would really look like on paper—with varnishes and metallic inks, die-cutting, and embossing.
