Non-Profit Capital Campaign Package
600th Episode of Fold of the WeekI met Trish Witkowski (foldfactory.com) at a design conference in Washington DC. She was presenting on data driven direct mail. After her session, I hung around to ask a few questions. I happened to have a couple samples of this project with me and somehow the conversation culminated with me showing her this recent piece that was all based on short-folds. She left with one of my samples and used it for her 600th episode of Fold of the Week.
Most of the collateral in this section is devoted to Crown Castle. However, this capital campaign package is the exception.
A local church wanted to develop a capital campaign package that could be used to talk to potential contributors. In this package, they needed to communicate their history, vision and potential to achieve their dreams with the help and shared vision with community leaders and key potential donors. They wanted a package that rivaled the large, west coast mega churches with huge budgets, which they did not have. I accepted that challenge and designed a package based on a short-fold concept. Everything from the pocket folder cover and the vertical pockets to the brochures short folded. I led the management of the project and worked with their marketing coordinator, a local copywriter and photographer to develop all the pieces of the package. I worked very closely with the printer from the initial concept through final production to optimally fit their printing and finishing equipment and specific paper.
I made several comps to show the client exactly what the finished product would look like and also to show the the printer and die-cutter/foil stamper. With a piece this complex, I was very meticulous at every step, constantly checking and verifying with the vendor. The project was completed on time, on budget and with absolute perfect execution by the vendors. Most notably was the perfect cross-over on the inside front cover vertical pocket. The registration was nearly a dot-for-dot perfect alignment.
Take a look below at the slider below that show each of the pieces in this package.
